Every ingredient in our formulas has a specific purpose. The Healing Bar embodies our philosophy—it’s a highly active, efficient and concentrated soap that was originally made for our founder’s mother.

Designed to give you a radiant and even skin tone, this bar is enriched with turmeric for its brightening, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Ginger boosts blood flow for a vibrant glow, while poppy seeds offer gentle exfoliation.

Finished with a dash of frankincense, The Healing Bar gives an earthy, deep and grounding aroma.

TIPS FOR USE

Lather the soap in your hands and apply generously to the face and body. TANAKA soap is gentle enough to be used every day. 

Our cold-processed method of production preserves the goodness of our natural ingredients. To ensure your bar lasts longer, keep it dry between uses by placing it in a dish that allows air to circulate and water to drain away. 

PROCESS

Made, cured and packaged with intention and care. Each bar of TANAKA soap is hand cut and entirely unique.

Most of our bars share the same base of olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter and castor oil. We use highly pigmented natural ingredients to add colour to our bars. TANAKA soap is made in small batches and is left to cure for 4 weeks.
